Reading Tandem
The Reading Tandem is an extracurricular program designed to promote language and reading skills among for children in grades 2 and 3 at the Stadtschule Chur. Together with a reading mentor, the children read, solve puzzles, play games, and tell stories.
Registration
The meetings take place once a week for 45 minutes at the Chur City Library – during the school year, excluding school holidays.
This program is free and voluntary. Once you register, you are committed to regular participation.
All spots for the 2026/2027 school year have already been filled. Registration for the 2027/2028 school year will open in the spring of 2027.
Become a Reading Mentor
Would you like to help a child with reading and language development? We're looking for motivated people of all ages who enjoy reading and interacting with children.
This is a voluntary position and should be undertaken for at least one year.
