What can I use?
The following are available:
- Learning and work spaces
- Reading lounges
- Self-Service checkout and return
The following are not available:
- Borrowing and returning big toys and vehicles
- Restrooms
- Mail
Who has access?
The Open Library is open to patrons 16 years of age and older with a valid library card.
Exceptions include Kids subscriptions, e-subscriptions, and institutional subscriptions.
Here's how to get in
- Scan the barcode on your library card at the reader by the entrance.
- Enter your date of birth in the DDMM format as your PIN.
- Press "Enter" to confirm—the door can be opened.
Video Surveillance
During Open Library hours, the city library premises are under video surveillance. This is for the safety of all visitors.
The house rules remain in effect during these times. Assaults on individuals, damage to property, and violations of the house rules will be punished.
The recordings will be overwritten after 14 days. By entering the Open Library, you consent to being recorded on video.
